"Journey" is my beloved Grady White 25 Ft. Sailfish which is for sale just in time for this year's fishing and boating season. This is a 1988 boat in full original condition. This boat has been marina maintained since new -- most of the maintanence being done by a local Grady White dealer - Boats Inc. of Niantic, Connecticut. I have owned this boat for about three years during which time I have had nothing but fun and pleasure from it. It's big enough to take the family away for a few days and feels very very safe even on rough seas. Grady White boats have an excellent reputation for being the best on the water. Don't be fooled by her age, she still rides like a gem. Very easy to get on plane and responds very quickly. Plenty of electronics should you get lost or stuck out in fog. While the electronics are not the latest flashy color screens and features, they function just fine and have helped me tremendously, especially in fog (never buy a boat without radar!). She needs a good wash down, bottom paint, wax on the hull, and Spring commissioning to get her going for the season. The boat has been covered and kept under a canopy out of the elements this past winter but it managed to get dirty. A few hours of work and she's ready for the water. It is also loaded with 200+ gallons of fuel so your first tank of gas is on me! Listed below are some of the finer points on this vessel. There is a few minor dings and dents on the boat but nothing unusual for the age of the boat. She looks great and I have always taken good care of her. I have found similar size and year Grady's for sale in the low $30's and as high as the low $40's. The price is $24,995 and the boat is worth every single penny of this price. The boat can be viewed in Old Saybrook, Connecticut. Just call me to arrange a time (203-676-0593). I just reviewed my bill from Boat's Inc for last Spring's tune up. I spent $2,600 a year ago just replacing parts and tuning the motors, props, etc. While some of the expense may not have been necessary, I always wanted to be sure everything was 100% and didn't mind the expense for the peace of mind.
